The safety and welfare of all swimmers within the Club is the primary consideration of all coaching staff and the committee. The club has a dedicated Child Welfare Officer, Kirsten Jones, with the necessary skills and training, who will act confidentially as an adviser and give help to any swimmers or parents. Sleaford Swimming Club will ensure all those persons who work with children in club the have undertaken the appropriate training and relevant DBS checks and adhere to the required practices for safeguarding children as outlined by Swim England’s ‘Wavepower’ advisory guidance.
